Google Charts

Quick post today: Huge fan of google's little toys and API's. Everyone knows about Google maps and mashups, but they go a lot deeper than that. They occasionally release tools they use in-house for public consumption. One of them is called Google Charts.

Basically, you can provide a simple URL with enough data to form a chart, this in turn gives you an image to display. Charting from the URL! Amazing! I wish they would open source the backend code so we can all have a graphics library to do charting without needing the webservice.

I'm using this now to remove the need for an et.xls for Session Based Test Management scripts we use. I'll post the files up here once they are complete.
